I don't really appreciate going onto the Mayor of Monmouth site and being 'greeted' by a bunch of bare buts. Is that really necessary? As a professional woman, I find that photo to be offensive. I will be afraid to open up this site at my desk at work from now on.

Well, I don't really appreciate that a man has to do 40 push-ups in 2 minutes to pass a physical in the Army and a woman only has 17 in the same time span.
As a person who was enlisted in the past I don't find it necessary for a woman to do less than a man when BOTH could be on the front lines at the smae time. A body doesn't weigh any less for a woman than it does for a man.

The pic is from an Adidas promotion for womens athletic shoes. I guess professional women don't wear those.

Ah yes...Comments from the more equal sex and boot camp.

Is Terry playing this year?

Over it now. Prove me wrong! Does a body weigh any less for a man or a woman? Doesn't equal equate to equal?

I agree with professional woman on this one. Our MOM blog is no place for BB.

BB belongs at home, smacked pink and slathered in coconut oil.

Sorry about that...I'll watch it next time.

Hope Terry's not playing this year!!

Yeah. That was a late hit on a much smaller player that could have been a serious injury. Hope nobody gets hurt this year.

Isn't this supposed to be touch football?

It is touch football. Funny thing is we have a bunch of very competitive chicks and guys which tend to really keep the pace up. We still have a great time. Stuff happens.

To Kirwood Derby:

Having played in the fall classic for the last couple of years, I don't think the women are competitive at all and it's stricly the neanderthal bonehead jock wannabes that have been an issue. Of course, you couldn't know that since your sitting on you're duff watching the game via a digital camera instead of playing!!

Honey!...
Not quite sure I get the gist of your rant and I'm not quite sure what sex you are (I suspect male???) Here's the scoop: This block event was initiated by women on the block in the first place. The women who do play are truly good sports, social and competitive. As for me...I was taken out by one of the softer sex while shooting a play a couple of years ago (I got in the way). I'll just do what I always do thanks.

It's good to see that you are in touch with your inner woman but please watch the "juicing". Estrogen is powerful stuff when over administered.

Oh no you didn't...

"it's stricly the neanderthal bonehead jock wannabes that have been an issue"

What issue are you referring to? Sign your name so this year I can line you up and knock you out !!!

Bring it !!!

Haven't you done enough damage already, Terry?
