RAWMEET on Monmouth. Gallery debut

After a successful run in Toronto, ODE to EDO comes to Windsor, Ontario -- Featuring the works of eleven international artists, including a striking collection of samurai armour and regalia. Thursday, October 1st to Sunday the 4th at RAWMEET, a new Studio/Gallery in Walkerville. GRAND OPENING is on October 2nd, FRIDAY NIGHT, at 7PM - everyone is welcome. The spirit and visual richness of the Samurai culture speaks to us today through films, manga, as well as personal experience. This collection, with pieces dating from the 1890s through the 1990s, serves as a starting point for our group of western and eastern artists; a direct link to the past, stimulating new forms of creativity. This is our Ode to Edo and the traditions that have honoured the samurai for centuries.

Jori Baldwin (Toronto) — http://www.joribaldwin.com/
Harvey Chan (Toronto) — http://www.harveychan.ca/

Are the hot rod guys going to be there?

Hot Rod Guys are staying under their rock. Have moved to a different part of the building. Don't confuse them with a couple of rods that are in the gallery. They are owned by one of the artists.

Thanks shooze...

I've been listening to too much nine inch nails again. Couldn't find my Iggy and the Stooges vinyl. I'll make the changes and we'll do this again.

The McLeod dynasty (Phil, Kagan and Sean) are incredibly gifted artists. From my perspective RAWMEET is truly a professional gallery that until now this city sadly lacked.

Way to go Phil! See you att he opening...
