Must Have Been the Whiskey

The street has been relatively void of the usual suspects these last two days. This leads one to believe that the party must have been a success. From this vantage...Indeed at was! Huge thanks to all of those who went out of their way to make it all happen. (like clock work). Special thanks to Sara and all of her initiatives. Especially for keeping everyone on track with funding. Rob gets the "atta boy" for building an exceptional bar. Obviously he has to make it bigger for next year. Bernie, Catherine, and Marco were obviously steadfast in their committment to keeping the pig roasting all day rain or shine. Elias, Gord and Marco served it up well. Jeff made sure that everyones cuticles and hair will be healthy for another six months. He also gets total credit for rising out of the nights ashes and organizing a quick and total clean-up. Les, as we all know, flew in from the great Northwest just to string up the lights. Liz came through, as usual, with charcoal for the roast and some exceptionally fine grub. The rest of us get kuddos for our contributions in time, furniture, food and beverage. An automatic ten points to all for showing up. For all of our guests, we hope you had a great time and we hope you'll bring more people with you next time. We had a blast. There is only one troubling aspect of the planning which became very apparent as the party came together. Who was most responsible for the success of this party; men or women? Perhaps the picture will help clarify things.
