One Clean Street in Windsor

One Clean Monmouth Road Ready for Art in the Park

Monmouth Road Residents have done it again. For over a decade street residents have hit the street rain or shine on this weekend prior to Art in the Park. Armed with brooms, and shovels they cleaned their road from top to bottom. There was more road goo than usual this year because the city sweeper has not been around since last fall. Residents got a lot of honking this year as passers-by thought that this effort was connected with all of the wonderful Windsorites who were cutting Willistead Park just down the street. Not the case but we'll take the glory anyway. After unloading at the City waste site many roadies gassed up their lawn mowers to join in at Willistead. It was a spectacular day in Old Walkerville.

Great job by all. As I've said before, this neighbourhood is an inspiration to the rest of Windsor.

PS. looks like your feed is working again!
