Good points - those houses are boring, and they are a dime a dozen. Monmouth is unique and cool. But what was that smell this morning?? (on May 24). I opened the door to get the paper and just about gagged from the smell. I hope that isn't what the mornings always smell like here in the warmer weather?? If someone can reassure me that this morning's stench was a one time thing, or at least a rarity, that would really make me feel better about Monmouth.

It's just the Walkerville Brewer Company. Sometimes it smells like that from it. Kind of sweet, yet pukee. I know what you mean, but I'm used to it by now.
