Refine Fitness Studio has opened it's doors in the Old Walkerville Business District. This posh studio offers a unique approach to personal fitness, catering to adults and working professionals who want a more customized approach to well being. The studio was carefully designed and finished to offer the best physical fitness experience possible. Glass walls overlook the business district and bring the full vista to patrons as they go through the paces of their regimen.
The approach is all customized to each individual as well. Proprietor Mike Bates has the best credentials in the fitness industry (see his resume in the attached link) and he wants the physical fitness experience to be different than what you find in the "big box" clubs. He chose Old Walkerville because of it's accessibility to downtown, business professionals and affluent Walkerville residents. There is a good synergy with the unique and upscale salons and social spots in the area.
Regardless of your current level of service or experience, members of Refine Fitness will be setup on a professionally designed program and kept accountable by a certified group of fitness professionals. If you understand the importance of exercise and working with a true professional, then Refine Fitness Studio was built for you. There is only one way to truly find out. Contact, or better yet, visit Refine. See for yourself and ask Mike or any of Refine's highly qualified instructors any and all questions you have. General memberships, personal training, Yoga and Pilates are all available. Don't forget gift certificates.
Refine your body.
Refine your life.

I'm going to use this blog entry as a segue for an invitation to any and all football fanatics/former football players interested in playing flag/tackle football THIS SUNDAY at Walkerville Secondary at around 10 a.m.. Wake-up, perhaps attend a Yoga or Pilates session at Refine Fitness and come to Walkerville High School THIS SUNDAY at 10 a.m.. My friends and I have been playing every week for the past few months, so if you have prior engagements, you're more than welcome to come next week. Let's enjoy our education levies.
Thank-you.
I would have loved to play but I am goig to watch th eLions get killed by Dallas unfortunately.
I hope to make it out next weekend perhaps. Thanks for the invite.
I really enjoy the quaint atmosphere and attention from the staff I get at this gym. I've found other gyms to be very intimidating. Its also very clean.
Dave: Thanks for responding. The invitation is always open to anyone and everyone who enjoys playing generally informal, albeit competitive, football. Roughly 15-20 guys play every Sunday. We play five downs. Offensive linemen are never eligible receivers and must be nominated before every play. Quarterbacks usually snap the ball to themselves and can run only if they're rushed. Punting is allowed and encouraged. We always have fun (especially in this weather), but blocking in the back has become a persistent problem, in my opinion.
Member: Yes, staph infections aren't cool. Deplorably, some people are motivated enough to exercise for hours, but not motivated enough to spend thirty seconds disinfecting exercise equipment.
