It is good to see that others like me are not willing to forget this issue. After reading the press conference I am reminded that I will not put any provincial candidate's sign on my lawn until I hear the first one who picks up the issue siding with ratepayers. If I do not see anyone picking up the issue then I will simply vote for new blood.
I just got another utility bill where my consumption is less than one third of my total bill. In my mind this is theft. I suppose I can look forward to being just as pissed off every month from now on in.
I see that blogger Schnurr is knowlegable and articulate in these matters and he already knows the protocol of this municipal government. I would suggest that he skip running for a council seat and just run for Mayor. I think he is the fresh blood and insight this city has been lacking for as long as I can remember. I think Mr. Schnurr can pull it off.
We need the support of EVERYONE in this city if we are to get to the bottom of this pile of garbage.
We cannot let just a few do all the work for us. DEMAND from your councillor that they support a FULL audit of WUC/Enwin and nothing less!
I just saw the news clip on A Channel. Very good coverage. I laughed when I saw Lewenza being interviewed. He still doesn't get it. All he can repeat is that "we have nothing to fear because we have done everything by the book". But did you do what we (the public) asked...Open a full forensic audit? No you did not. Why is that? Whats to hide? Your lame excuse that it will be a needless waste of taxpayers dollars is a joke. With the money that this administration wastes whats such a comparative pitance? Especially when it is we, the tax payers who are demanding it. By the way. Why is the Mayor staying out of public site on this? Is he setting Lewenza Jr. up as the fall guy? You have to laugh.
But these same people already said that there WAS a conflict of interest. ?????
My Gawd! When is this group going to fess up and stop dancing like this? What have we elected to represent us?
