Monmouth Road Street Sweep is Coming!

Art in the Park is on its way.  That can only mean one thing for Monmouth Roadies.  It's time for our annual street sweep.  Time to scrape off winter's goop from our street and gutters, bag it up and get it off to the dump.  Traditionally we always do this on the Saturday before Art in the Park.  This is the best way to show off our great neighbourhood to all of the Art in the Park visitors.  It is also the event that kicks off the martini season.  This year that will be Saturday, May 26.

Be ready early.  We'll be kicking this thing off at 9:30 A.M sharp.  You will hear the noise.  On the Friday evening before, be sure to park your cars about 20 inches from the curb.  Get your brooms and shovels ready.  Make sure that you have a package of paper lawn bags. 

Make sure that you inform your neighbours.  We have a few newbies on the street this year and this is a great way for them to get into the social frey.  All ideas and suggestions are welcome.  Post them here.
