Halloween on Monmouth had it all. An outdoor movie, hot apple cider with buttered rum, loud, scary noises, thick autumn smoke, tailgate barbeque, cocktails and an art show. The weather was just right. Not too warm and not too cold with a few puffs of wind for effect. Kids and adults alike had some good fun. Attendance was average. About two hundred and twenty by all candy counts. Lots of fairys, sailors and superheros. The perfect evening.

Wow, I don't think we had that many on our end of the street. I would have said maybe 50, or 70 at the most. (Maybe because we didn't have a Jack-O-Lantern.) Monmouth Rd is great at Halloween time though...the outdoor movie screen is always a huge hit. Old Walkerville has the right atmosphere for Halloween.
