How is it that Leamington can do such simple and brilliant things while the City of Windsor cannot seem to get anything right? Here we have an expensive Development Commisssion manned by lawyers, high profile business people and the like and we can barely get the staff together, never mind getting a brochure out. You Tube? Bahhh! Not a big enough idea for Windsor.
Windsor tries so hard at projecting itself as a big city that it is missing simple, inexpensive and obvious opportunities to project itself at all. Notice that Windsor is not mentioned in the script. London, Detroit etc. are all noted as being a stone throw away from Leamington. The only reference to Windsor was a dashing glimpse of one of many cross-road signs. Do you think we have synergy? Leamington should get the high speed rail.
This was actually a very slick presentation without being over hyping Leamington. Very good production values and straing-to- the-point visuals backed up with concise, descriptive words. Good job, and thanks for bringing it to my attention. Maybe Leamington should get a stop on the high speed rail line.
