Dante Capaldi of the Capaldi Corporation has asked for a neighbourhood meeting regarding parking for the tennants of the Metropole Lofts at 917 Walker Road. Specifically he is requesting parking on the sidewalk along the north side of the building (South side of Niagara Street). Your input is very important so please make a point to attend. Proposed date for the meeting is Saturday May 6 at 1:00 PM at Big Tony's Restaurant. Thank You!

How many spots? Is there a plan available for viewing? Will a car even fit? What happens to the sidewalk? What is supposed to go in that area (grass & trees)? Any information available pryor to the meeting would help.

Why doesent he just park on the empty lot

Is the empty lot (next to the empty new row housing) a parking lot for the building? Is it going to get paved? Whats else is going into the building on Walker road?

Won't it be dangerous if someone is backing out and someone is turning off Walker. Why can't they park in the new parking lot.

When are we getting the sidewalk on Monmouth fixed? Why should we even consider supporting this when we can't even get the basics fixed. I'm tired of walking my dog and tripping on that dam sidewalk. I will not be supporting this.

Big Tony told us that he is planning to open the whole downstairs as a banqet hall and catering operation. I don't think there is enough parking. People will be parking all over the street. This can't be good for the neighbourhood.

Do you really expect people to give up a Saturday afternoon to talk about this? You couldn't pick a better time
for the meeting?

I have Walker 917 site maps from the May 7th meeting. Stop and pick one up. Rand Gibbons 253-0208
