Improvement Coming for 700 Block

The Neighbourhood Improvement petition is ready for adding decorative street lamps to the 700 block. Residents of the block will be canvassed within the next few days.

The 800 block is the only block which currently has decorative lighting and the 700 block is looking to harmonize with those. Ultimately the goal is to have these lights from Wyandotte to Ottawa streets.

This lighting detail has contributed to the home values on the 800 block which currently sell for 27% more than those on the 7 and 900 blocks.

Not a bad game at all. Two evenly matched teams sparred the entire field right down to the wire. Plenty of good quarterbacking by both teams and some excellent defence. A lot of good plays by just about everyone but if there were stars to be picked they would be Tony and Allister for some great leaderswhip and quarterbacking, Heath for exceptional defence and all round play and of coarse Chuck Lowry for completeing the winning play. Brad gets special honours for blocking.
